Rear end & Trans 17qts 80/90. Hyd 6 qts non-foam like AW-46. This is what my owners manual for the wd-wd45 said went to the local oil gas company and they converted it for me, there should be 3 drain plugs under the tractor to drain, just dont do what I did! Put the AW46 oil the trans, should have been hyd. I had a DUMM moment.Takes 17 quarts. Fourth drain plug is Hydraulics & belt pulley drive, forward of PTO, but rearward of engine clutch. This compartment is NOT connected to the trans clutch/ trans/ diff compartment. Filler is also on left side, that little cap with dipstick attached. When Allis came out with their 821 trans hydraulic oil they also recommended its use in pretty much everything in older machines as well. So to be technical the most recent recommendation for the transmission is the 821 type oil. I would use it if your tractor sees winter use. Otherwise I also think modern gear lube is fine too.
