Jan 2022. Our visit to the lake was just a drive down 187 to the Beaver Dam area. This is an absolutely beautiful lake from the road--even in the winter when there are no leaves on the trees. The views from above while we drove were amazing. Unfortunately, there are no official turnouts along the road so be careful.
