Kawasaki prairie 360 carburetor adjustment.
The float didn't get itself out of adjustment while sitting over the winter. The float settings are consistent on these engines. I would be looking at the fuel enricheners (choke) stuck open, or the entire carbs being gummed up. 2002 698 Prairie. VFJ 11.5:1 coated pistons.

The most common problem is that the shift rod is out of adjustment. It's probably moving too far towards the low gear and when it high it's not locked in all of the way. I am posting the adjustment diagram below. If adjusting it doesn't help you out then you know that chances are there are worn parts in the engine. (Not very common.)
