Jul 27, 2016. #1. I recently picked up a Kel-Tec P32 to see if it had something unique to offer compared to other tiny CCWs. I especially wanted to compare it with my beloved Ruger LCP, which I did a thread on earlier. Easy to forget that today's huge category of "micro .380s" was actually launched back in 1999 by this gun chambered in .32 ACP.
The P32 is a very simple pistol. Extra features are limited; no rails or optics here. The P32 comes in two generations. Mine is the first-gen model with a rather interesting set of sights. They are milled into the slide and sit flush. I just trim the casting flash off with a sharp pocket knife. If the checkering is too sharp, just sand it with 400 or 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper. The P32 doesn't kick much at all, and the trigger is very manageable. I advise learning to shoot the stock gun before you start changing out parts. Mickey.
