I'm looking at Houston manufacturers and have found Pits by JJ, LSG, Gator, Klose, Johnson (near Houston) and Pitmaker. I'm going to take a field trip one day to check them out. LSG seems to have the best value for money in their 24" pits -- you get free tuning plates and can add the warming box option for under $600.I do really like the smoker.
