Really, you want several crews for base defense: Crew 1, Kras plus synergy. This helps reduce the enemy crew and most importantly it stops Rom from working. Crew 2, dependent on tier of Harrison, either pike/Moreau Harrison, Picard Beverly Harrison, or maybe pike Harrison and Gorkon/Lorca depending on their tiers.

Tonight had some good base defense teaching as we update the bold defense, post battle engine update and incorporating some strike team officers into the fray. Try Tyler as capt with Airiam and TOS Chekhov on the sides. Stack the bottom for max attack. Two suggestions I saw today: Gorkon as capt, dark Tilly and Emp. Georgiou.. that crew should take out a six million ship, depending on officer levels. The other one was Charvanek, Harrison and Pike as captain.Offensive abilities are pointless, IMO, because in a tough fight the ship will be quickly destroyed. Developing officers like Vixis (Fake Communiques) with abilities to slow down …So if your ship doesn't have Isolytic defense, you have none of that damage mitigated, like with this armada. So basically, if your ship does 10,000 damage, and you have 1% isolytic damage, you'll do 100 isolytic damage. Then any isolytic defense is taken away from that. Isolytic Cascade. For Base Raids. Base PvP (raiding) becomes available at level 15 and allows players to attack enemy bases (or have their bases be attacked if they don't have an active peace shield) . For cracking/ breaking enemy bases (destroying docked ships, shields, and defense platforms), it's best to consider the power of the ship divided by its repair cost.
