In response to Acadia Ray - My 2017 Acadia started showing the steering assist warning when starting the car, my check engine light was on, engine fans keep running on high and a/c stopped. I removed the negative battery connector, and reattached it as you suggested, and all is well!!!5. Cooling Fan Malfunction.
