Text size. The Honorable, H. Arthur "Mac" McLane, 83, of Valdosta, died on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, after a period of declining health. Born in Valdosta to the late Carson H. & Philena T. McLane, he had been a lifelong resident of this area. Growing up on Mary Street in Valdosta, Mac developed relationships here that would last a lifetime.
