Feb 13, 2012 · Ok so Saturday I'm gettin ready to leave work, had moved the truck around to the wash bay, cleaned it up, brought it inside to do detailing on it. get done with that, start it and throws CEL and defaulted to max rail pressure. cleared codes in the truck, light instantly came back on. checked the fault codes and found the only code was p0090 for fuel pressure control circuit. P0087 is just another symptom of the other codes. Usually the p0087 is caused on LLY-LMM trucks by a weak FPRV and can be shimmed for cheap.
