Ford escape limp mode.

Few weeks ago wrench light came on with the p2127 code (Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch E Circuit Low Input). While the wrench lights on it was in limp mode. Now the light comes on as soon as i touch the gas pedal. I've put a ford throttle body and pedal position sensor on the truck, still the same thing.E40D limp mode. This is my first post on this forum, I have searched and tried many things with no success. I have a 92 f150 4x4 with a 5.0. when I bought it the tranny was burnt out, so I tracked down an E40D out of a 95 f250 with a 5.8. Once in the truck it will not shift. in drive it starts in what feels like 4th and in 1st It feels like 2nd.3 major problems. 1. When the temperature goes below 0, my car shoots up about 20 codes. My computer goes blooey. 2. Sometimes the temperature light comes on either because of a bad heat sensor or thermostat opening too quickly.November 2022, car was going to hot when I would drive over 70mph. I have a 2015 Ford Escape Ecoboost….it recently went into limp mode….they said it had to be reprogrammed….cost $4000…. Got a call to come and pick it up but when I got there they inform that (through no fault on their part) that after they changed the transmission fluid the transmission went out and now the car won't start….is this possible or am I being fleeced…..

Fast forward two days, "engine service now" shows on my way to work, complete my shift and drive home with no lights or warnings. Halfway home "engine service now" & check engine light, car goes into limp mode, 50mph for a mile or two down the motorway until I pull over and turn the engine off. Start the engine again and drive home fine.
