Jan 25, 2022 · Turned off the ignition to restart it and see if that helped. When I tried again the car won’t start. Lights come on etc, but when I twist the key to ignition nothing happens. The shifter is stuck in park and won’t move. my brake pedal is fully pumped / primed too and won’t depress down so I can’t press it to free the shifter. The car stays in Park, the transmission stick can be moved freely through all positions. There is no codes with OBD scan. It has 50700 miles now.
