For a lightweight stock I've really looked hard at the All-Composites stocks that are available through PVA. They show 22 oz for an adjustable stock with a $2100 price tag. I handled one at SHOT and the rifle was ridiculously light and the stock felt great.I think a stock with a raised comb or cheek weld, and a vertical grip under 2 lbs is a light weight stock. My McMillan Game Hunter is 26 oz. These are my opinions, just as yours is a stock has to be under 20 oz. to be a light weight. Another opinion could be that a rifle under a certain weight is not a long range rifle. All just opinions.
