I recently got striked on both a memu alt and my main running PGSharp nothing blatant, GPX routes at 9.2km, didn't alter throws or snipe hundos or shines it's the modified apk that triggers strikes/bans. PGSharp as a whole is a bad idea. The worst option for spoofing and hacking pogo. Niantic can use Google Safety net to detect changes in the APK, and there's been ban waves because of it. My PokeMod HAL accounts have never been banned. My PGSharp accounts were banned within 6 months of using the modded apk. -7.

They have though instead decreased the frequency of detecting the use of PGSharp, iPoGo, and other modded versions for periods of time. Then about a month or so prior to an event, they increase their detection. So while and this is my opinion only they are still constantly issuing bans their claim isn't fully true about the end of ban waves.
