Comes up to temp, put on meat and come back in an hour or so and no temp. Fire is out and pile of unburnt pellets in smoker. Works well on higher temps. Smoker has been cleaned.

I turn on the smoker, push the button to take it to 350 just like the manual says and maybe it get to 300. It takes a good hour or two to get there. Then I turn the smoker down to 225 to cook and the temp goes down and keeps going down. Once it hits around 200 i have to put the temp back to 350 to get it to go up. WTF.Flashing Temperature. I just noticed that the auger motor is not ridged, it kind of floats. I can’t see or feel any mounting holes or screws to keep it affixed solid.
