Subaru outback driver window reset.
The local Subaru dealership took a look at it and indicated that the issue was due to the window tinting, recommended lubrication. I tried some light lubrication on the window channel, this did not help. Since the problem is intermittent, I have not continued on with solving. I hope this helps a bit!

Dec 14, 2022 · So until the passenger window is "reset" such that the computer knows the difference between real obstruction and something in the way before the window is supposed to reach it's limit, it will not let the driver control it. I'm not saying this is an ideal way of handling this, but this could explain it.
