At the recommended setting at least 4-5x came out, not double. I'm not really sure how the settings are supposed to work. I was going to grab a Husqvarna spreader from the local agway, but almost every bag of seed or fertilizer has a setting for Scott's spreaders, so I went with a Scott's. The settings don't seem to make much sense to me.
