Norinco trench models can still be had in the US on the second hand market for ~$700, but at that price you can buy an original 1897 and do the conversion with a repro heat shield and bayonet lug yourself. This is coming from someone who owns a Norinco repro. It functions just fine, but they aren't worth the price they are going for anymore.

I found a 1897 take down Winchester for a little over $500. It was an original long barrel full choke gun that was already cut down to a riot gun length. The main part I was missing was / is the bayonet mount heat shield that clamps to the barrel. The main source of the reproductions was a man in Georgia that died a few years back.
