Its just 2 wires. You should check every module to see if you have voltage on that can c pins. Just stick a multimeter on the 2 wires. If you don't see about roughly 1 - 2 v then your issue is broken wire on the can c bus somewhere thats grounded or doing something. obviously start at the tipm and move outwards.
