According to my manual, these are what options are left for "Cranks, but won't start". -Fuel line clogged. -Spark plugs not in good contact. -Spark plugs fouled or wet. -Incorrect Spark plug gap. -Incorrect valve clearance. I have taken the following off the list. -No fuel in tank. -Fuel broken down (used stabilizer)The 360's are notorious for having drivability problems due to the valves going tight. My Prairie 400 (liquid cooled) has absolutely no fins on the head or cylinder. If you have any at all, it is the 300cc. The 300cc is oil/air cooled so that "mini radiator" you spotted would be the oil cooler. It's mounted up really high and has screw on compression fittings instead of 3/4" coolant hose with regular car type hose clamps.

The primary clutch and the crank shaft is mounts on - make sure there is NO LUBRICANT AT ALL. If there is lubricant, then that could be the issue. If the primary were to go on to far, the cooling fins on the back of the clutch could hit the metal plate behind it. An 1/8th inch out is pretty far. Need some pictures.

Try this: "Rotate the motor while watching the intake valve open and close. Go to the T mark on the flywheel. This is TDC on the compression stroke.
