Also, if you like all black and all steel, the Super Carry Ultra HD is another option. Other than that they are very much similar.

The primary thing I think was they reduced the amount of the carry melt treatment a little. The basic difference between Series II and pre-series II (like yours) is the Series II guns have a Swartz firing pin safety.

I just bought an Ultra Carry in 9mm and am "tuning it up". It too is a great little pistol. For the money in a carry gun, the CDP is the better buy, unless you can find an Ultra TLE II.
