Felt like it was just a bit better in the draw cycle and felt better in the hand in my opinion. Wanted to hear others thoughts. Newer to archery and looking to upgrade soon. If you don’t have a Phase 4, it is one of the top 2 bows Ive shot this year. The Hoyt VTM 31 and Phase 4 29 are still the top of the class in my opinion. I really like the SS34 and Omnia, but the Mathews and Hoyt were just so effortless to hold on target and shoot repeatable shoots for me.

The tuning and usability of the binary cam is so user friendly comared to the myriad of issues you can run into with the hybrid cam.

My takeaway was I didn't like the way the matthews fit my hand. It felt a little top heavy, not crazy but kind of noticeable and could've used a back bar. With Mathews, every mod is optimized for your draw length to maximize performance. So I would start there.

I had just sold a ventum 33 and wanted to try a different brand than hoyt. My ventum 33 was pretty dead also so I imagine the VTM will be close to the phase 4. Draw cycle on the HBX cam was better than the mathews.
