Inserted guide rod/spring fine and ensured it was all the way down and even. Placed the slide on the frame, but could not get the slide back far enough for the slide lock to engage. Removed the slide and rechecked the guide rod/spring for proper fit, alignment, etc. Still could not get the slide back far enough to manually engage the slide lock.
Pro's-. accurate and a smith. Cons-. Expensive and out of production. Is not easy to silence. Mags may get really expensive. can be ammo sensitive. More of a collector than a shooter, imho. I'm going to give it a full polish, as I did with my S&W 460V (3lb/12oz of chrome-like stainless beauty with a custom-made Kansas Black Walnut grip). Definitely a great concealed carry pistol that offers a double stack magazine capacity; 10 rnd and 12 rnd. People don’t like the trigger but I think I like it. Everyone is accustomed to that midpoint reset in the trigger but that’s almost nonexistent with this pistol.
