So I thought I'd familiarize myself with the location of the jumper posts (under the hood) just in case. The directions in the owners manual say "pull the red rubber boot backward" to access the positive jumper post.

From the inside - Pull the rubber plug and use a long coat hanger wire to 'fish for daylight' in the engine compartment - then pull whatever wire you need back through the hole and rubber plug. I was changing the oil and noticed what appeared to be a little bit of old dried oil on the bottom of the transmission. I didn't see any fresh fluid.
