To check, go to the System Control Center, click on WiFi Settings, use admin as the password, click Advanced Setup, Wireless, then WPS. Make sure the WPS box is checked. If not, check it, click Apply Changes, X out of the page and try pressing the WPS button and connecting again.10-30-2017 08:10 AM. Sorry for the confusion, meant wifi password on back of modem. New to HughesNet and I could not mannually connect to wifi using password on back of modem. So I compared the Password Setting to the modem label. Label has one capital letter and the wifi password shown in the System Control Center does not. It must be a misprint.
Then unplug the modem, wait at least a minute, then plug it back in. Then, after at least five minutes, which gives the modem a chance to be fully back up and ready, try to connect your TV to it. After that turn your other devices back on, or at least the ones you want on, anyway. 11-27-2018 09:42 PM. So I'm unable to access the internet at all. No dns lookup, can't ping anything. I can get to the router setup, but not system control center. I've tried setting the dns to Google's, and setting it to get from ISP. Nothing works. At least nothing beyond the router works. I've power cycled, and rebooted in the router setup.

all wifi devices were verified OFF with hughes system control center. HughesNet System Control Center. netfix needs at least .5 mbps minimum to operate on low setting. i already knew my wi-fi was as good as hardline due to a previous test in the begining.
