Good human. There are shoes that are sized primarily for women - i.e. the standard width is lower - but that's a comfort and fit issue, not a "lockout" issue. I think nearly all Vans are unisex, some of them have a slightly slimmer fit if they're women's, so maybe get half a size up if you have wider feet.
