It will hard start from 20F- 40F when you add a little throttle while starting it. The rear brake foot pedal and the rear hand brake eventually connect to two cables that terminate just above the rear axle. The arm or lever or whatever that these two cables connect to seems to be stuck in the forward position (thus locking the brakes). I soaked it in WD40. It appears as though Arctic Cat started making their own ATV motors in 2007. All of the Acrtic Cat 650 and 700 V-Twin engines were Kawasaki motors. The 700 DOHC single is a Suzuki motor. All of the H1 and H2 SOHC engines are Arctic Cat's own (550, 650, 700, 951 V-Twin). Not sure about anything smaller than the 550.

Hi, We have a LT Z50 4-stroke with a tuning kit, including Dynatek CDI. It started to run a little weak so I checked the compression then I changed the piston. Now it idles but nothing more happens when I accelerate. Only way to really know the year and so on is with the Vin#. The vin tag is usually a small welded tag affixed to the left rear downtube. It should be facing the left rear tire. The 10th digit in your Vin# which is a letter corresponds to the year of your quad. ‘92 is a (N), ‘93 is a (P), ‘94 is an (R), ‘95 is a (S), and ‘96 is a (T).Which is basically what Mobil 424 is.
