I have an '05 QC 1500 4x4 5.7....I have been chasing a clunking noise in the front end for some time now....usually only feel this moving slow on a left turn and going up an incline...can be felt in the floor by you feet on the drivers side. The best way that I could tell ya is to look at the bushings and see if they are worn. If the nut on top is loose, take it the rest of the way off.. and go drive around and see if the noise goes away. Take both sides off, believe its a 14mm nut. The push up on the sway bar to get the bar away from the links. Test drive.
