All of my characters are Gear IX and 7* with maxed although not-OMEGA'd. The AoE from Dathcha and Jawa really set it up pretty well. Stun/Ability block nearly everyone and then kill JE...then kill everyone else. You will lose RG of course but the delay will be just long enough so you can take out another droid.

BB8 makes them fast, Nute gives you two possible kills for GG bonus turns, DDK can have big one target damage, Wat makes Magna beefy and speeds up B1 if you give him weapons tech. All choices are good in different circumstances. Best fifth is nute.
I use Vader to TL and attack as much as possible with Tie Silencer. Use Ghost/Phantom II as reinforcement; use Chimaera as Cap ship. After a couple turns, you should be able to knock it down easy enough, especially with offense up and advantage on Silencer special.
