Okay. This is usually a problem with one of the actuator motors or with the a/c control unit. In some cases the a/c module can be reprogrammed to fix this. I noticed that sometimes the click is much louder then other times. Sometimes its hardly noticable and other times you can really hear it.Put the newly cleaned positive terminal back on first, then move to the ground side. Once the corrosion is cleaned, put the battery terminals back on the posts and see if your Impala starts.
