In NY we've been having the heatwave, to which my new ptac is not keeping up, although its a new unit thats been installed 5 months ago during winter. At times the ptac would not put out cold air and just shut off completely (overheat?). Today I opened up the lid and saw a vent button, its set to off, what does this do?
