Missoula is already pretty tricky to drive in with the awful city planning, and I think as locals we take that for granted. Same with winter driving. The Dark Horse has gained a favorable reputation, drawing really good singers who regularly show up. A large crowd of enthusiastic participants is normal, expected. The sound quality is superior (especially on-stage), atmosphere is fun, the crowd applauds, even if singers bomb out. Fun guaranteed. It depends on what you want.
