If you still need Mercenary's alternate special, the new Prismatic Trial is super easy to get it on Right as you spawn theres an equipment chest with a Preon in it, just grab that, kill the time crystals, and when you start the teleporter just hop up on the pillar and shoot it at the ground to one-shot everything.
