If anyone else is having this problem, I had to go into my local game files and delete the script extender from the bin folder. Oftentimes mods will need specific steps taken to uninstall without crashing the game on loadup. For example, once you add modded gear to the game, you can't uninstall that mod or else the game won't know what to do ...For the fix to this, you have to install script extender (manually or via nexus/vortex) and then start the game. You don't need to launch through mod manager to launch with script extender active, by the by. It doesn't hurt, but it's not necessary, it loads your modsettings file and SE anyway.
