Braton is "better" at long and mid range because of the lesser recoil, but is worse as a boss/heavy killer. VS heavies overall I prefer the braton because it's easier to pour the fire into the crit ...

Gorgon can be fun to use, however it has many downsides. It has bad accuracy (with massive spread), damage is not too good as well, and it chews through ammo very quickly. Then there's also the wind up time before it can reach its max firerate.
