Glacier has (in my opinion) more dramatic 4-5,000 foot sheer cliffs and well-defined/scenic peaks; it also has a slightly better variety of hikes, and a much more "park-like" feel because at the lower elevations the diversity of vegetation is much greater. RMNP has a more barren, dusty, rocky, feel while Glacier is much greener.

There are boat tours, boat rentals, bus tours, and horseback tours inside the park. There is rafting outside the park on the west side. While there are rooms available most lodging inside the park does not open until late May or mid June due to it's still winter in the park.
